Whether it’s a secret meeting place, a sensational signpost or a breathtaking wonder of nature, CBC Radio 2 wants to know! Canadians get the deciding vote on who writes and performs the songs from among Canada’s finest musical icons and emerging stars. The end result is an incredible cross-country playlist, with 13 brand-new, original songs for Canada’s playbook. Each artist will compose and record an original song, inspired by the locations chosen by Canadians from each province and territory.

Liebe Kanada-Freunde,
die Urlaubszeit rückt näher und auch wir bei Beers n Bears werden uns eine kleine Auszeit nehmen. Daher möchten wir Sie an dieser Stelle darüber informieren, dass wir in der Zeit vom 28.09.09 bis einschließlich 21.10.09 keine Auslieferungen vornehmen können. Bis zum 26.05. stehen wir Ihnen selbstverständlich gern zur Verfügung. Wir freuen uns schon darauf, Sie nach unseren Ferien mit einigen Neuheiten überraschen zu können.

Between raising hell and amazing grace habt Ihr von „Big & Rich“ wahrscheinlich schon bis zur Bewustlosigkeit gehört. Durch Zufall habe ich eine Version von den „Brewer Boys“ entdeckt, die ich Euch nicht vorenthalten möchte:
